About This Topic

The goal of this practical is the design and assembly of an autonomous outdoor monitoring camera. The camera should be mobile, easy to set up and should have a long recording time. The camera should support different recording modes, e.g. recording by predefined time-schedules, recording by triggers like brightness and motion etc. A possible extension is remote controlling of the camera (e.g. by using mobile networks)

The hardware platform has not been chosen yet. One possibility is the Arduino platform. Thus, interested students should have a background in electronics.
